Welcome to Caffe’ Delfini

Your favorite Italian restaurant in Santa Monica

Caffe' Delfini started in early 1990.

We purchased Caffe' Lido from the Ciani family, who at the time owned the Lido ristorante in Pacific Palisades, and changed the name to Caffe' Delfini. The logo idea came from a statue in London where the original owners (Lino Savoia, Gianpietro Silardi and Alex Ercoli) spent some time.

Lino left in 1998 to pursue his own restaurant. Gianpietro retired in December 2021, and a new partnership was formed. Continuing the adventure are now a long-time friend with a strong passion for food and cooking, Riccardo Menichetti from Tuscany, and Teri Ercoli (Alex's wife)
